    no idea no idea on the box but why not join the forum Mat?.. theres more to life than questions about value.. $25.00 is a small price to pay

      I have been buying German wood boxes for a little while now. The handles appear to be from a typical ammo box, but the construction of the box does not appear German military. The lettering on the box does not look like German WWII lettering either.
